Neil G. Giuliano is the President of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), the nation's LGBT media advocacy organization.

He has appeared on CNN, ABC World News Tonight, Showbiz Tonight, and Access Hollywood, and has been quoted in Newsweek and USA Today as well as many state and regional media outlets. He is one of the nation's most visible and effective leaders in the movement for LGBT equality.

Do you remember the first time you saw a gay character on TV? Or the first time you read a profile of an openly gay or lesbian leader in your local newspaper?

GLAAD is in the business of changing people's hearts and minds, knowing that what people see and read in the media shapes how they treat LGBT people around them. Based in New York, GLADD takes the responsibility for making sure that those images and words foster awareness, understanding and respect.

  A brand new Broadway-bound musical by Alan Menken, composer of "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast".
